I initially created a wall poster featuring the alphabet in the English language and thought it would be interesting to have a version in Yoruba, a widely spoken language in Southern Nigeria and other parts of West Africa.
I grew up learning and speaking Yoruba and as a child I was intrigued by the fact that the Q and Z were 'missing'!
The letters are presented in shades of grey and black and can be both a piece of wall art as well as a learning tool for those who are learning the language.
It is printed on museum-quality matte paper in a number of sizes that can framed easily. You may be teaching or learning the language or you might just want a quirky print as a point of interest or conversation piece in your interior space.
