Washi Tapes- the perfect companion to Wall planners

Washi tapes are colourful tapes masking tapes with a wide range of uses. They come in a variety of colours, patterns and widths. What makes them great apart from the sheer variety available is the fact that you can peel them off and reapply them quite easily. No marking, no residue.

Uses of Washi tape

  • They are great for staying organised when used in planners, diaries and notebooks.
  • decoratively; for wrapping presents and the like
  • scrapbooking, crafting, journaling
  • labelling

We particularly recommend them for use on our wall planners as they offer an adaptable and simple way to plan and stay organised.

How to Use of Washi tape on your planner

These are ideas that can apply to both wall planners and planners in notebook form:

  1. You can choose a particular colour to represent an activity or person and use this across the month or year. A great way to see in one glance how your scheduling will look.
  2. You can can also write over the washi tape for another level of information. For example, Adam's events are in yellow tape and then his specific appointment/date can be written across the tape.
  3. As good quality washi tape can be peeled off and reapplied without damage to the tape or to the surface, you can use it to block out/mark time temporarily. Simply peel off and move when dates are confirmed. An easier way to 'pencil in' an event.
