Cool Accessories for your Wall Planner

Wall planners serve as a great way to visualise and manage a project, school year or a specific time frame. You are able to record timelines, targets, key dates, deadlines and appointments. 

With a graphic representation of these all in one place to serve as a reference, it is also easy to share ideas in collaborative ways with others.

As simple as it is, it is very effective and entirely flexible. There are so many ways to set yours up and adapt as you go along. 

These are some of our favourites:

WASHI or MASKING TAPE

MT Masking Tape

Masking tape of washi tape is an easy an effective way to map out timelines. You simply cut to the desired length on the planner. This tape is available in a huge range of colours and widths and you can choose what best suits your theme or taste.

A bonus is the ability to use different colours to colour-code a process, topic or even a person (think staff holidays!).

Masking tape tears easily, is easy to write on and can be removed easily if adjusting your information. 

HIGHLIGHTERS

These are simple and effective for tasks and inputs that are not likely to change over the course of a year. Again you can colour-code and zone ideas or timelines. You can also easy write over a highlighted area. 

STICKY NOTES

Muji Full adhesive Deadline sticky note- £3.50

Muji have quite the selection of sticky notes but these gridded sticky notes are even more versatile as they have grids on them. This would allow you to further layer the information you input on your planner as you can colour-code and then add more text or graphics to the grid as needed.

MARKERS

There is nothing like a good old set of sharpies for a bold visual, even from a distance.

Pro tip for you. Stores like Hobbycraft or the Works, often have them on sale at some point during the year. 

STICKERS

Muji Translucent Stickers- £2.95

This set of translucent circle stickers come in 3 sheets, each made up of 96 stickers. So you get 279 stickers which sounds like plenty. You can use the different colours create a key or code to represent a particular thing. 

As you can see through them, you are able to create a layered input on your planner or use them over existing text/graphics.
